Voice For Christ Ministries exists to provide Christian radio to Native and Rural Alaskans.
To do this, VFCM owns and operates the I AM Radio Network.
"But thanks be to God! He gives us victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain." I Corinthians 15:57-58 (NIV)
Monthly Newsletter
July 2010

VFCM News
Praise God that we are now making electronic receipts available to those donors who request them. This is another way we can save both precious time and money. We have a small team of volunteers to install a (new to us) phone system for both VFCM and KIAM.Please continue to pray for Dee and the rest of the Eldridge family in their grief after the May 11 Home going of our founder. Bob’s birthday is July 27.

KIAM News
Praise God for the volunteers to replumb the KIAM boiler system that also benefits some of the VFCM offices. Of the two summer on air volunteers, one is on the air already and the other is in training. This second volunteer actually gave us a bonus by bringing his wife to help at the reception desk. All three of these folks, as well as the regular families, are planning to staff a booth at the Tanana Valley State Fair in Fairbanks in August. Our celebration of 25 years of God’s blessing at KIAM will continue there.

KYKD NEWS
We are so grateful for Ken and Karen Anderson’s willingness to staff the studios in Bethel. They have made radio engineering modifications that have helped the reception in and around Bethel. Please pray for the yet unknown volunteers that will serve in Bethel when the Andersons leave at the end of this month.

KAGV NEWS
We have a combined Praise and prayer request. The Thiemes are keeping things going in spite of technical difficulties with the C-band satellite connection and AM antenna there. We are grateful for God’s grace; please pray for His direction and provision.

Thank you for your partnership in bringing the Good News to Alaska.
