September 2008
Labor Day has come and gone, school has started and the summer is nearly over. As we ponder all that has taken place this summer, we want to thank all those who have ministered to us through their finances, prayers, and physical labor. We exist because of your faithful, consistent response to God’s direction in your lives. We are so very thankful.

We are also thankful for our own staff and volunteers, who like you, sacrificially participate in the ministry. Our intern, John Brown, and our regular volunteers at KAGV have kept the station running for Karl and Kristan Thieme as they serve in Bethel at KYKD. The Thiemes offered to go to Bethel, to fill the vacancy as the Fentons have returned home.

Our newest short-term missionaries, Palmer and Bonnie Bailey, after praying for God’s direction were willing to go to Bethel. After training the Baileys, Karl and Kristan will return to Houston. Please pray for the training to go well, and for the Baileys as they adjust to life in Bethel.

Please pray for KAGV, as there was a small fire in the transmitter the end of August. Our backup transmitter had some difficulties and consequently the power went out. During the power outage, the station’s generator threw a rod out the side of the unit. The station is off-air as we await parts. Pray we will be able to repair the transmitter quickly and effectively.

In Christ,
Terri Thompson
