We are so thankful for your financial support which makes this radio ministry to rural Alaska possible.

We all occasionally experience trials. Trials are a part of life here on earth. Those of us who follow Christ are assured that God allows the trials through which we pass to accomplish his work in our lives.

A few weeks ago VFCM missionaries Karl Thieme and Brian Blair flew to the remote village of Hughes to repair the local broadcasting equipment. They were so encouraged to meet a number of the village residents. The repairs were completed in a few hours and they planned to return to Nenana late that afternoon. But a snow storm forced them to stay all night in Hughes. While this was not according to Brian and Karl’s plan, God used this circumstance to allow them to meet more of the people. KIAM is the only station that can be heard reliably in Hughes, and it was a great encouragement to learn of those who listen to the message of the Gospel which is broadcast 24 hours a day. On the plane trip home they met a man from another village who recognized Brian’s voice and told them he listens to our radio broadcasts in his village.

God is using your prayer and financial support to make this ministry possible. Please pray that God will send us people to minister here as the Blairs are now the only missionary family at our headquarters in Nenana, the Thiemes serve at KAGV in Big Lake, and the Baileys are with us through April in Bethel.
