KYKD-100.1FM in Bethel, Alaska has been experiencing great blessings from our Lord. First, God has faithfully provided volunteer staffing for KYKD to continue the broadcast of solid Bible teaching and Christian music. Beginning in January 2010, Palmer and Bonnie Bailey from Anchor Point, AK have been serving in Bethel. Also, from May through the end of July, Ken and Karen Anderson (Bradenton, FL) have answered our Lord’s call to serve in Bethel.

In terms of radio programming, the Lord has provided a wonderful Yu’pik (Alaskan Native Eskimo) woman who is excited about recording verses from God’s word in her Native Language. Also, children’s Bible Study groups from Bethel and the nearby village of Napakiak have recently been featured during KYKD’s Saturday mornings reciting memorized scripture verses and singing praise songs to our Lord.

As the ministry of KYKD continues, please praise the Lord with me for these listed blessings and continue to petition our heavenly father for volunteer staffing beginning at the end of July 2010 and for transmitter repair issues.
