December 2012

The village of Bethel in far western Alaska is home to our KYKD radio station.  In early November, it was home for the Voice for Christ Ministries Board of Directors semi-annual meeting.  During this wonderful visit, the directors had opportunities to meet and worship with Yup’ik (yu-pek) Native Alaskans.  One very memorable moment for me occurred during a church service when a Native woman shared her appreciation for our radio ministry in Bethel.  This was the first time that I had heard directly from an Alaskan Native of how much our ministry means to those living in remote villages and it touched me deeply.
Please continue to pray and give to His work, especially as we focus on our Savior’s birth: “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given…”  Isaiah 9:6
